Dr. Yae Sam Song
Dr. Yae Sam Song, while born in South Korea, grew up and spent the majority of his childhood in Berlin, Germany. He later moved to Los Angeles, where he received both his Master of Public Health and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of Southern California. After several years practicing on the west coast, Dr. Song transitioned his career over to New York City. Dr. Song aspires to be a bridge between the old and the new within his profession. He aims to uphold the core foundations of dentistry while also assimilating the constantly advancing dental field and technology into his daily patient care. His treatment philosophy prioritizes preservation of patients’ natural dentition whenever possible. His top priority is to ensure that patients have a comfortable experience from start to finish. Dr. Song caters treatment to the individual and believes in equipping his patients to have the best oral health they can achieve, not only in the short-term but, more importantly, over a lifetime. His experiences working with patients of all ages – from pediatric to geriatric – have allowed him to better understand the unique needs that are present across different populations. Dr. Song also enjoys giving back to his community through both local initiatives as well as medical missions abroad including various cities across Mexico, such as Tijuana and Ensenada. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Song loves spending time with his wife, exploring the city for new restaurants, playing sports and trying new coffee spots.
